Forgive me if I am wrong on this, but the very nature of the system itself seems flawed, as a new user myself, only 30 days, you see videos on yt and tutorials, telling you to vote with around 100% power , after the post has been up for 15 mins or longer, and aim for the highest earning posts to get some reward back for my measly 0.01 cent vote, so people zero in on folks like H the crypto genius by default. then you have the wind up merchants that fish in the plankton pool to come give us a measly free vote, and shitty comment, and vote their own comment to 100%, god forbid you answer them, giving them the chance to do it all over again, frustrating much, when you are down at the sea bed.

Yes, if you are here for the rewards, and have only content to contribute, it is difficult to get going.
But, if you can find your niche, the rewards will follow.
It's a matter of getting out and getting yourself known as someone to support.
I think I found that tonight, I found a lot of truthers on here and followed them all and talked to a few, so now I have you the Anarchists and the truth movement to engage with, now started to clear out the people I followed just for follow sake, thanks for the encouragement and words of wisdom, as always much appreciated.
It's a pretty big flaw that you see almost everywhere. Try to stick with people that don't act like that and maybe we all benefit. I'm sure Steem will try to adapt some ways to prevent this. For now look up @spaminator. They try to prevent that kind of abuse.
I do not hang with the people that do that camb, they trawl through new posts and aim for anyone under 49 to do it to, I saw a guy the other day get it done to him on his intro post, the guy in ya face said I had to leave you a vote so I could comment to upvote my comment, and the newbie said any chance of more than 1% vote for me then, you see these people are in ya face laughing at new guys, no surprise when so many walk away, I will look up spaminator, cheers.
Yes. That's pretty blatant but it happens a lot. Not everyone is like that. Good luck here. It takes a while to get started but it's still better than the rest :)

I had it happen to me also today, and a few days ago, the problem is, if I make a post with these two people in them, I am committing suicide on here, they will flag me down to berniesanders level, I will gladly report them all, if there is a way of doing it without me taking a beating for it?
Its a good point to take a beating for. If they retaliate you will have even more to share.
Luckily I have not been visited by these people yet, but I don't vote or comment on their stuff so perhaps that is why. Or I just am so small they wouldn't even bother. Either way I'm happy where I stand.
