Good stuff man. I think that bots are free market at play and if it weren't happening whoever has all that so would probably spend at least a portion upvoting themselves somehow. I don't like it all that much and I agree it won't work with mass adoption.. the saddest part of looking on steemit is noticing that the view count is so low, at least for me. I had a post get shared on Facebook by a guy running for senator, but he shared the busy.org link and I don't think the views takes into account views on busy.org.. so maybe more people are seeing then you think! Additionally I have been thinking about how I need to make posts interesting enough to link to on other forums like Reddit and Facebook.. that will get more views and more people seeing steemit, but no gain in payout initially.. thanks for your thoughts though, I've been gone a couple weeks but I'm back now. So there will be at least one more view in your posts, adios though!
