We picked off a bunch of leaves a couple weeks ago for some pasta. But damn never thought about pizza! I got to up my game, any other recommendations to use with basil?
Pine nuts, olive oil, and fresh basil = PESTO!
I like just tossing them over a cheese (we use vegan cheese) pizza.
And a few shreds in a salad is nice.
If you make smoothies, toss in a few leaves to add zest, fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
Always use them fresh or add at the last minute when cooking.
