Lately, I have lacked the urge to post and write on Steemit for various reasons. I have been doing more research and reading because of it though.
I was going through looking at wallets to get an idea of what is happening with some of the bigger accounts.
Below is the @steemit account with its current history ...

I was/am just curious as to what and why those accounts have such large amounts transferred to them?
At first, I thought maybe they were funding some dev projects but the accounts seem to be idle accounts doing nothing.
I imagine the only people who can answer that question would be the ones controlling the account, which should be the founders for this account, correct?
Anyway, having the wallet feature shows the platform values transparency, so I hope I am not out of line asking what these accounts are meant for.
Thanks,

I understand the transfers to the @steemit2 account as the reasons are listed there for payouts for most of them. But the other accounts are confusing.
I think I recall reading somewhere in the past that these accounts were created for new devs added or being added to the team. Hence, it makes sense there's little activity, since these are a form of long term incentive alignment plan.
