I'm a content creator and I've been on social media pushing my message since 2010. I use about 15 platforms for various reasons and these are the best:
- LinkedIn for my resume
- Pinterest for my online filing cabinet of ideas and affiliate sales
- fb groups I join my various interest and genres for instant info and feedback
- fb pages I run for affiliate sales and promotion
- Twitter for connections and affiliate sales
Right now Twitter is the big winner for me as far as Steemit goes. I got here in June but did not focus on tweeting steemit stuff until Mid-August. I already have a good twitter with 5500 tweeps in my niches. I keep active there with automatic scheduling 24/7 and then going in at least once a day to interact.
For steemit I tweet continually now with scheduling and it's about 70% of my feed.
My Steemit posts include:
- my own posts for 5 days heavy rotation and then set to repeat forever much more slowly
- most Steemit posts I upvote at least once with the steemit tweet button
- I tweet about half of the posts I upvote on the 5 day rotation and about 10% of those get set to go forever like mine. Those 10% are the really cool ones that make steemit look good in my opinion.
I started a steemit twitlist when I got here and found friends already on steemit. Now my list has over 100 steeming tweeps on it. I ReTweet out from this feed with schedulers and in real time many times a day.

Quite a lot of the steemians on my list are very active on twitter too and we are really making an impact in that cold dead world. I'm getting all kinds of ReTweets of steemit posts from my non-steeming friends.
Steemit posts look fantastic on Twitter. The interface makes a great looking tweet easily.
I coach twitter and will be doing a steemit post series of "Twitter Tips for Steeming Tweeps" soon. A few tweaks and we take over the place :)
