Morning neighborino! I noticed it's hard to earn any money unless you have a whale up vote your posts. Do you think over time this will even itself out as more content creators grow in wealth and influence? It makes sense that that would be the trend at hand. As long as whales are actively voting on users content it will distribute the voting power. As long as they aren't just voting on their own accounts more and more quality content creators will accumulate influence that better spreads Voting power around the pool of active steemit.com contributors.
It's great that whales lose nothing for up voting content they like other than voting power which replenishes itself. This means they are likely to vote and spread the love around the community in topics they like. This will become more condensed as regular holders have more influence and something akin to moderators will likely form around categories. Promoting community involvement and communication.
As the voting power becomes more evenly distributed I think we will see more and more articles earning $10-$40. At the moment there doesn't seem to be much of an in between. It's either pennies or hundreds. I think once this evens out it will greatly improve category diversification and involvement.
Please chime in with your thoughts on the subject!
Should give some credits on the photos as to source (Theeee Siiimpsoooons)
Good write up article. This is worth more than the cent my upvote just gave it.
Blessed credits!
I think the hope is that it will happen eventually.
It is indeed tough now to be noticed. When I analyzed the 100 most upvoted posts https://steemit.com/steemit/@cryptomental/can-a-viral-introduceyourself-post-be-engineered I noticed that even there the distribution is not equal. There are some posts with 800+ votes that get $127.21 and other posts in the same range were rewarded up to $14075.
Yes it definitely all depends on who upvotes your post. Gotta get noticed by someone that wields some power to earn any money.
Like in real life...
