As of this week, a batch of 500 A2 posters has been distributed throughout the city centre of Amsterdam. This campaign was funded by the SBD I made with my introduction post.
All the details in regards to this campaign can be found in this previous post
From SBD to BTC
I worked with the great people from Stadsbehang who are a major player in the wheatpaste poster distribution business in the Netherlands. They carry out large-scale national operations and are the most relaxed people I worked with so far. Fun fact about the working with Stadsbehang; they allowed me to pay them in Bitcoin! When I contacted them and explained about my involvement in the Steemit community and how it works they got super excited and immediately agreed to get paid in Bitcoins. I guess the next step for them is to join Steemit.

Community Support
What I found even more surprising was to see the this post by @cass who will donate half of the SBD earned with that post to me! Talk about a supporting community!
Going through @cass his blog, I saw fantastic artwork that he created, and it made me think of a potential follow-up of this poster campaign. What if we combine the power of 2 Steemians (is that the official word now?) to push this Amsterdam campaign even further?
Let's Push Things Forward!
This is a relatively small campaign at first glance. But due to the denseness of the city, these type of posters work very well. I consider this the first step of becoming an active participating member of the Steemit community! I have been here since Juli 2016 and to see what has changed and how it's all evolving is mesmerising.
I'd like to give a shout out to @shortcut and @dunja for providing strong feedback on the poster design. A big thank you to all the people who upvoted the previous post, with out you this campaign would not have been possible! And again a big thanks to @cass for being so damn generous!
Let's do this - i'm all in :) and guess my friend as happy to assist as well !
Nice @cass!
allright! good stuff. So whats next? Mail me or steemchat. balls in your court!
Amsterdam is conquered. The rest of the world follows :)
Hahaha, well like I said, small step in the right direction. #steemon
Good job. And very nice photos. Beautiful city.
Thank you so much! Summer time in Amsterdam is truly amazing. Have you ever been here?
Not jet, but Amsterdam is high on my wish list.
Well, should give it a try! Can provide you with some good insider knowledge ;)
hup hup. Great post! Wish this can get even bigger!
Thnx! I allready talked with the people of Stadsbehang and it's not that big of a step to bigger. The amount would be less, but the size much larger.
Good to hear! Let's see if this post can gather more Steemdollars so you can get your campaign up and running!
Yes, lets see if the hard work will pay of : )
It's a long road, I know! Let's see...
Nice! I'll x my fingers so you get more upvotes! Amsterdammers! Get real!
I think there are more Dutchies on Steemit then we think!
Great. Looking forward to more! Would like to see some here in Berlin!
Me too! Would like to see some more all over europe!
These kind of poster campaigns are even cheaper in Berlin. But it is a bigger city though!
It's a bigger city! But exposure is great. You can get really central spots!
Berlin has quite some Biking traffic. I still think there is more to be done with the biking concept...
Was desperately waiting for this and it's turns out amazing!
Thanks for your efforts to push the steemit community to the next level.
let's hope it scales up! Would like to see more campaigns in Europe. There's also a good point for new people to enter steemit. You can buy steem for such a low price atm.
Yes it all took a bit longer then expected. Learned a lot though :)!!
Look what I found yesterday when visiting my sister in Amsterdam!
I will read up on your previous posts soon, because I didn't know you before this ;-)
Good luck!
Yes! great to see this again. By now these posters are gone but I'm planning on another great promotional project :)
