Steem's content is immutable. That's great, because any truth will not be hidden due to "selfish" deletion reason.
I mean "selfish" are who are greedy to share something useful, "enclosed easter egg", "fame but not fame", and "anti good spreader".
I mean "enclosed easter egg" is something interesting made to be hidden and classified same as nation's classified document level so it impossible to reveal it.
I mean "fame but not fame" is something to be exhibited but it being hidden same as psychologist patient's secret story/secret identity.
I mean "anti good spreader" are who share something useful, interesting but not intended to promote it, etc. but it being hidden same as prototype of the project or privacy reasons or no free promotional reasons.
