By the way, dear @steevc, I'm sorry for off-topic, but I really don't know who else to ask. About steemit account recovery and the phrase there "Stolen Account Recovery can only be used on steemit.com if the account owner had perviously listed ‘Steemit’ as their account trustee and complied with Steemit’s Terms of Service."

I'm not too sure about that either. According to https://steemd.com/@inber your 'recovery account' is steem. Maybe that is okay. I'm sure someone will have documented this, but just be very careful with your passwords

There seems to be a lack of information about this. There's some on the FAQ, but I don't think it makes it much clearer. I hope someone can improve that, but I don't know enough about it
