I've participated in two contests since I joined steemit.
The first was an anime contest, where the participants were supposed to talk about their favourite character.
I've got a story writing contest booked for today.
I think contests are a good way to engage with people on steemit.
Even if you don't win, you still get your name out there.
I'll be participating in more contests from now, and when the time is right. I'll conduct my own contest.

Thank-you for upvoting the amendments (this will ensure the message moves to the top) which will really assist @ainie.kashif to manage HHG. But change can be difficult and confusing for everyone. As you are a senior and well respected member of HHG, I need your assistance in making sure the changes happen as smoothly as possible. Also I think you have good skills to help with this change.

Competitions for new registrants like us are very important until it's a whale. It's a good way to get into contact with new people. Continue without giving up.

Thanks to this post I've really taken contests seriously.
I made entries in 4 contests yesterday, and I've got some others booked for today.
Do get back into contests, they happen to be over of the fastest ways to gain some SBD.
