I think every Social Media platform struggles with this issue. It's up to the users not to get caught up in things that don't seem right. And thankfully for other Steemit groupies, you are here to remind us :).

It does feel like home, actually more like a village. Luckily the scammer never stays around for long ;)
Yes! They quickly move on to the next get rich quick scheme, when they realize Steemit is not a scheme :)
