@digitalmaster, agreed, but I am not talking about what you do or what you want to do when people steal and stealing is bad but I am not talking about that, but rather I am talking the philosophy and the legislation and the morality and the future of the judicial system of going after alleged theft and other things too

If nothing is new, then everything is stolen, repeated, reran like reruns, like predictable Disney films with patterns and people compare the speeches of Melania Trump with that of Michelle Obama and Michelle stole it from others too. Homer Simpson accidentally stole a design logo from a Japanese company or maybe they plagiarized him. People are in jail right now for alleged plagiarism but they're innocent but the judicial system must be broken or something.

It is not a question of is it plagiarism.

Because it is rather a question of how much plagiarism should or should not be allowed within a song, a show, an idea, a product, a service, a quote, a speech, an article, or what have you. Words are copied from where they come from. We do not source and cite the creators and lexicons of dictionaries, of languages. We often repeat idioms without sourcing and referencing where we get quotes from. We all steal all the time in so many ways. We steal air and we did not buy the air. You know and I know that it is a very complex issue and it is very hard to know exactly how stolen something is. You can always justify and rationalize your ownership. We all think we own everything. When a white man came to the Americas, did they accuse Native American Indians of plagiarizing their own right of the land as Indians even as the Indians were there first? Some people would say the white men stole land from Indians. Others might argue for the other side. It is like that conversation between Anakin Skywalker and Obi Won Ben Kenobi in Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, and Kenobi said the Sith are evil but then Anakin said from his point of view, the Jedi are evil. Sometimes, you may think you are good and the other person is bad. In some cases, you can be wrong. Anakin became Darth Vader, the bad guy, and he was wrong. At the time, he thought or felt he was right.

In life, we may think we know everything. We may think others stole from us or from others. Like Vader, we are sometimes lost in the clouds of cities and smoke for 420 or 911 or worse.
