I've only used @booster occasionally but anytime I have used it, I've either had the vote or an automatic refund. The one time I didn't get either, I messaged and inquired and it was refunded within minutes.
you know @kingscrown SteemSpeak is not the only server where you spam your link. I've often wondered with the volume of automatic votes you get why you think you need to spam and set a bad example for those less familiar with the platform?

Agree. What kind of image does this convey to serious investors? They see these shameless wars and move away from it. Sadly, whales are repeatedly acting irresponsibly and forgetting that everything they type is permanently recorded on the blockchain. That stuff can and will bite back to hurt the platform.
Investors don't buy STEEM because STINC owns the majority of stake, they do not use that stake wisely, they hard fork often, they do not market well ... and on and on.

Speaking of hard forks, you're surely aware of the messy bitcoin forks and the unending developer wars. The Steem hard forks are to improve the network. And since it's a consensus-based system, it's up to the witnesses to implement or reject them. Steemit has to abide by the witnesses' decision and re-consider their modifications if required.
Surely you're aware of the timelines you're comparing when it comes to hardforks and surely you're not counting hardforks by outside developers to create a new shitcoin?
If so, then also count the numerous Steemit clones in your numbers and timeline and reassess. And when you're done with that, realize ...
Steemit has changed the entire economic model when they hardfork, repeatedly.

Thanks for this information. I also faced problem with this bot many times before. Not only he run the bid bot. Whenever he want he up voted his personal or Fyrstikken post which increase the time of upvote from 2.4 hours. Many others are also facing this problem.
I honestly don't see the motivation for making any personal drama as public as this, it hurts the entire community... Why you have choosen to put this on the trending page is beyond me @kingscrown.
On a personal basis I do feel anyone offering a paid service like @booster should be able to deny certain costumers from participating. I look at this in the same way that a bar or nightclub can deny entrance to people that don't act in a way that is of interest to the venue.
That being said giving a downvote to someone paying for your services seems like a bad public way to act @fyrstikken. If you had refunded him directly and told him he was not welcome to use your service I would support your actions.
I would urge both of you to find a better place to have this kind of discussions then on the trending page of Steemit (if needed at all). When this kinda post is the first thing new users run into, there is a huge risk they won't choose to stay...

Many other upvote bots do the same thing of not giving profitable upvotes. But it does warrant the fact that he shouldn't have downvoted your posts after you paid him but he does have a right to downvote but after he refunded you and not with an upvote bot( defeats the purpose i think)

I have conservative views and stood my ground when they were trolling. It was awhile ago but if I remember right I was helping someone who they were picking on and that turned into a heated political debate and I think I said something about the American president. It basically was me maybe sticking my nose where I shouldn't have but I got banned for criticizing the American government and society in general. They tried to shame me and when that didn't work they just flat out banned me. I could care less the community was Authoritarian and way Leftist. Not my place to be so the ban didn't matter but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Almost left Steem because of it... I'm a free market conservative kind of guy so I decided it didn't really matter that much I'll find people I have something in common with instead of leaving.

Hi @kingscrown and @fyrstikken, You both are whales I guess. One of you is running a bot. The other person did not get the service what he paid and expected for. This is the viewpoint of @kingscrown. @fyrstikken has an entirely opposite viewpoint. I used @booster for couple of my posts and they responded but it was a month ago. I'm not sure how they are performing right now because I was away from Steemit for 3 weeks. On my return, what I have noticed is that @freedom delegated a lot of SP to some not very familiar users. I even used some of these services and they responded quickly. However, soon after the SBD price hit $14 mark twice in a week, the delegated power was taken back and those voting service stopped their services. (Nothing wrong in taking back one's delegated SP in such a scenario. All the big services in particular made money during that time.) Another scenario that I have noticed is that @buildawhale and @upme got lot more orders than ever before. Previously, @minnowbooster was on top of the list and I'm not sure who is now. @blocktrades is also delegating SP and in my view they are doing a good job with some unique services as well. So, there is so much happening at Steemit and most of it is positive.
I'm not here to take sides. I've read posts of both @kingscrown and @fyrstikken and have been upvoting them. If someone did something wrong, it can't stay hidden from the eyes of Steemians. If they did not, people will know it too.
There is so much positive in it for us all. So, let's focus on things like that by the end of year 2017. Can we?
