I think it is easy enough to search the posts as you add your handle and search words... however this does not perpetuate the value in either direction. The reader would not know to search an author and with links, after 7 days the author gains no value... bring it back up could help... but as one contributor stated here, the ethics would be questionable. SO do we allow this platform to be a new addition only value centric or should we take matters into our own hands and re-post (like a delayed reSteem)?

When they get nothing out of what they do, in my opinion, it goes back to the individual. Maybe we should re-learn from previous posts, to get maximum results, in accordance with what is needed by the world of steemit.
Yes of course this is a natural progression forward, but should we ignore value or information from the past?
we do not ignore it, because it is very unwise if we do not appreciate our own work, but now we are just trapped by the difficult system we break through.
Apart from the many brilliant ideas our say, but people do not see them.
