RE: How I Prepared to be a Full Time Steemian

in #steemit7 years ago

This was a great read.

I was almost on the same trend as you - but I chickened out.

Last year was really tough for me and my family, as we lost a massive amount property and belongings to a natural catastrophe.

At the time I was living abroad, but decided to come back home to help my family - at least as some sort of cheerleader.
I was just starting to realize the steemit potential when I got a job offer. Everybody was so happy for me and calling me "lucky" - as jobs are difficult to find here.
So I couldn't say no, could I?

Sadly my field is a bit soulcrushing and I sort of fell out of love with it.

I have been regretting my choice ever-since.
I lacked the guts (or balls or whatever) to do it - but reading these stories really gets me hoping that someday I too, might be brave enough.

Thanks for sharing!

I don't think you have anything to regret. You went to help your family, got a job and you can always earn extra with Steemit and save it for when you really are ready to do something else than your current job.
