During my Steemit Journey, I read already many Posts on this Plattform. Also, I checked the profiles of others but one number I did not give so much attention. The number in the middle of your profile. Yes, I am talking from the number of Posts.
When I have learned something than it is that engagement is not only important, no this word is not so suitable. Better to say it's indispensable. See and be seen! One major key in this community.
I saw one Steemian who believes in this platform wrote 1000 Post in one week. For the people who don't know what this number means. It's counting everything you are writing here.
Including your comments. Especially your comments. Your important comments. I am now over a month here and haven't make it to 1000 Posts :D.
This is an incredible engagement! For that, it's not a surprise that some Steemians are better seen than others. This is a lot of work they are putting into this site. You can try it out for yourself. Challange yourself.
People who invest, I am not talking about money. No, their time and effort will be rewarded one day. Not immediately, but it will be seen. @stellabelle you can call her a queen here told that this engagement with others was one part why she became prominent here.
@asperger-kids told me that she invest 4-5 hours per day into steemit. I am sure one day she will also be a friendly giant here. It's inspiring to see the belief of some people.
But don't put comments just for the sake that your number in the middle increase. No, make your thoughts and write a meaningful comment for the author and other readers. This is a lot of work.
But if these people can make it then you can also. It depends on how much you want it.
thanks for reading.
This is very true! I often spend hours a day on Steemit and when I do my follower count goes up quite dramatically. I don't really care because I don't post much of my own content but it's still interesting to note
Oh Captain, long time no see.
Thanks for your great comment.
I hope you are doing well?
Yes I'm doing well thanks. I was away on holiday so no Steemit for a week! How are you?
Holidays are always good. :)
I am still recovering from my injury and learning more about Steemit.
I am one of those who spend 6 or more hours a day, I do not waste my time in some other matters anymore. I always see to it that I read first the Holy Scripture and Meditate, then after that I engage in steemit most of my time the whole day. I believe in what steemit will do to us epecially to the people in the 3rd world country like us, where everydollar is multiplied to 51 times in our peso. So it helps a lot as an extra income for us. A single dollar for us can buy 1 and 1/2 kilo of rice that can feed us two days, so every cents we get from steemit's rewards count so much to us. Thank God for Steemit, thanks to all Generous Curators.
Amazing Comment! Thanks for participating with me my friend.
You have a good sequence. First, you take your power in the relationship of the highest and then you are going to your online work. Keep this up, my friend. May the most high highly bless you, your family, your country and of course Steemit.
Hey danke :)
Ich würde hier nicht meine Zeit investieren wenn ich nicht 100% an die Plattform glauben würde. Ganz oder gar nicht ist mein Mott :)
Ich finde deine Einstellung Klasse :)
Daher auch die Erwähnung.
Nice post, good to see a postive attitude about Steemit!! And too many people are just sharing online content, so I'd like to add be original. Your post does that :)
@damnthatbanana You add something crucial. You're so right. :)
Hmm yeah this is the point, give a meaningful comment :)
Does that include " It's great!" ???? :)
Haha No way :D
You very correct... Engaging constructively is a key to success here and you can also earn some good upvotes...I have earned once on an upvote from a whale up to $200 ...that was some weeks back although he mistakingly upvoted 100% but stistill saidits my lucky day bcos of the quality of my comment plus questions... Good to engage... Ask questions for further clarification if necessary and follow up...to for this
This is great news. Are you sure that the whale mistakingly upvoted you with 100%:)??
@kenhudoy
Well...who knows.. but was my lucky day...hope he keeps up voting such...😎 @modernpastor

For sure I will check it out :)
Wow... Nice one...let's keep steeming hot
Thanks man :)
Thank you for this post. I have been remiss in posting comments and building relationships with people who write awesome content like you are doing. This week I am going to challenge myself to make 100 quality comments - yes that is not close to 1000 but it is a start. Keep up the great work and inspiration to others! Upvoted, resteeming and following.
Thank you, my friend :)
This is not only a start, this is fantastic. You are going into action and that matters.
I am sure you will be rewarded for your effort one time :)
Great information, I've tried various things here, and I think as you say ....read the entire post, commenting your thoughts or opinions not just Good job...I see so many saying follow me back, upvote my post which to me is a turn off, just asking to be followed but did you read the post...anyway we are all learning and your post has tips to help us out. :)
Thank you for your great comment :)
I don't like if people are begging I also wrote about this. This is a platform we learn everday its an exciting adventure.
I am already fed up with the questions how to make money from the Steemit and what is the trick. Most of my thing here comes from the commenting not form the posts. You can advertise the posts, but it is much better if you engage and put effort to read other people posts in here.
Some people definitely have the wrong picture they are completely alone on a blogging platform and count people into numbers, not into persons.
Thanks for this comment.
Yes, I agree with you. Engaging has a huge impact here.
Your last remark is spot-on.
Anyone can collect 1000 posts in a week, it's just a copy/paste or bot effort.
But to really read the post, and comment on it, that takes time. Just like creating a post from scratch, you need to put the effort in to think about is, write it down properly and also check punctuation and style.
I'm curious if you checked the 1000-poster's comments if they are really relevant comments or just comments to collect the curation rewards.
I would believe the latter to be the case.
Actually, this post is a good example. You have 55 votes, but only 7 views. People will upvote without even knowing what they're upvoting for...
@rmz thanks for your comment. :)
Maybe you overlooked it. In my post, I mention that it takes a lot of effort for making valuable comments and not only a comment for the sake of commenting. As I took, for example, @stellabelle or @asperger-kids you can check their effort out for yourself.
I don't agree with you that people are only upvoting without even knowing what they are upvoting. For sure some people are doing it that way but I think it's a huge mistake to generalize it.
Also, i would like to add that sometimes we just need to recognize that other people are doing certain things better than we and accept their success :)
I did not overlook that, that's why I started with
With that I meant your comment
I don't know why you wouldn't agree that a lot of people are upvoting without reading. The figures show it, if you have more upvotes than views there is no way these upvoters can know what is in the post.
For this post it is already over 5 times the upvotes compared to views, but I've seen instances where 10 to 20 times more upvotes are common.
The upvote-bots people can subscribe to have a lot to do with this.
And I do not agree that other people are doing it better, they're doing it differently, with another attitude.
I'm less interested in just making a quick buck than building a connection with people I respond to.
I have to apologize. I was the one who overlooked it.
Yes, you are totally right with that some people are doing it that way. Upvoting without reading. But in the case that there some views I think you cant generalize it. For me it a question of formulation. :)
Exactly, they are doing it differently with another attitude but maybe for the same goal.
And it could be that their different way of doing something here is better, or let me say more effective as your or my way :) And as I saw from your profile it's your goal to make Steemit your primary source of income.
In the last point, I agree with you. That is what I wanted to describe that engaging with others is in my eyes so essential and that they are other Steemians we can learn a lot from.
You can do it man :-)
I think for that I don't have enough time :D
This post has received a 1.80 % upvote from @booster thanks to: @modernpastor.

Some of it is really cool!
Wow! 1K posts a week seems a lot. I'm not even sure if I can reach half of it in 1 week. ^^ Maybe 100 - 200 is possible for me hehe
I know what you are talking about. Same counts for me :D
So very true... I need to be more engaged on this platform for sure.
Let's go Steemians!!!!! POST POST POST... #CRUSHINGIT
Yes, that's it :)
Followed, upvoted and resteemed.
Thank you, my friend :)

Dude, your message is on point and beautifully delivered. Your thumbnails are marvelous. You will come far here quickly.
I am now on Steemit for 12 weeks and it is crazy how much stuff I am learning everyday. The power of comments was one of the last things I really engaged in. Although I was commenting a lot I dodn't take a lot of time. Now I just let the words flow out and I don't care how long it takes.
What I also do is I check up some profiles of the people commenting on my posts and engage in their posts. Like now. ;) That is a real cool way to create rapport. Another tip is to pay attention to the name. You don't have to memorize it (although I have tons of tutorials about that on my profile), just try to pay attention yo you will recognize it next time.
Du bist Football-Spieler in Salzburg? So richtig professionell?
Thank you for your kind words :)
Yes, I am a professional Football(Soccer), Player. But at this moment I am injured. But I think I will recover quickly to get back on the field. :)
Great written and it's so true about engaging.
I love that the most, why I joined steemit in the first place to connect with people and engage.
I always take time to answer every comment even to this day 😆 if they take the time then I can do it to. Great way to get to know people.
And it does pay off, hard work and consistency is the key and being humble.
Thank you for sharing this. Have a great weekend. Cheers
