Well @laonie it is difficult to define what is a quality post, because when you start from the bottom and have no steem power you are litterally invisible to the masses. Also, there are so many posts in "new" that even if there is an interesting one, it's impossible to tell them apart from the others. I hope my posts will get through one day but it doesn't really mean they are "quality" or not. It's a really subjective matter I believe. Thanks for explaining how the bots work!

Agree, even if you read every post, there don't have any standard to justify whether a post a good or not, you can only say you like it or not.
We will have to work with that until a better system come along, I hope that we will get a system where it's possible for most people to have a voice or be heard a bit more because now it seems like the whales have a crazy amount of power even considering to the rest of all the users. It's fine for now but it has to change in the near future, we'll see!
The whales are developers, i believe most of them are using bots to vote.
