I think Twitter used to be good. It pushed me further along the "waking up" route around 2011-12, mainly because I had cognitive dissonance about some of the tweets I was reading, and then clicked on their links...
But my account has been dormant for the past few years - due to people following me just to promote their business to me; bots following me and then unfollowing as soon as I followed back; less engagement and more selling I suppose. In the early days I found it a very friendly medium.
