RE: Steem Secrets #5 (Delivered By @allerie00): Much Of The INTEL That You Will Need, To Attain "Steemit" Success, Lies In "History".

in #steemit • 7 years ago

Good morning @steemsecrets and hello @allerie00😀😀

This is a great secret being revealed, that much of the Intel we need to succeed lies in History and I'll say it's true.

Let me tell me tell you a bit of the "past", to help you understand "the now" and to help you foresee the possible evolution in the "future". .

I'll be relating the above quote to my field of studies here in school. You see, the secrets being revealed are in a sequence, each one building on the existing one to make for a great foundation.
Sweetheart @gerel, told me yesterday to Shake the Steem-osphere with a piece of awesome me, for before Steemit there was life.

OK, in Petroleum Engineering, we have a principle, which is known as the Principle of Uniformitarianism
It states:

The Present is the Key to the Past
the fundamental principle or doctrine that geologic processes and natural laws now operating to modify the Earth's crust have acted in the same regular manner and with essentially the same intensity throughout geologic time, and that past geologic events can be explained by phenomena and forces observable today

Now, reading through while also listening to the sweet words of @allerie00 made me realize that truly, the present is the key to the past, for without the founding Steemians not being persistent and hopeful, they would have been no Steemit.

I'll have to stress now that,

The Urge to Never Give Up

Is a characteristic each and everyone of us should have, and with reflecting on the past, we will be able to fully appreciate the future and contribute our amazing ideas to the development of the Steem-osphere, and not only the Steem-osphere, the world as a whole.

I'm learning now from this great Intel that the beginning was a rough one, but cheer up, if they didn't give up, why should we. With continual striving and determination we'll make the Steem-osphere a better place.

Thank you very much @steemsecrets and Big Bro @surpassinggoogle. You're indeed touching our lives and giving us the necessary requirements to making the Steem-osphere a better place, keep being amazing. Our prayers are with you always.

Everyone has something to offer

I agree with the idea that giving up is never an option. Even I have experienced receiving cents from my blog posts but i always remind myself that it is not the reason why i came here. I only come here for engagement and learning that i could get from the experiences of other people. It lets me see the beauty of the world through other people’s perspectives. I am more than grateful to have found this platform and to this greatest adventure that i am encountering. Kudos to the efforts of @steemsecrets for constantly reminding people of what steemit is all about :) thank you @surpassinggoogle for another secret revealed. :)

@steemsecrets is doing it. Reminding us of history, our beginnings, our foundation. The onus is therefore on us to build something befitting of our platform. Thank you @steemsecrets, thank you @surpassinggoogle for making all these a reality.
