RE: The importance of my STEEMIT RESPONSE DAY!

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

There are now over 250 people to respond to, so I am pretty sure it will take me most of the day to get this done!

Knowing you, @samstonehill you will attempt to add value to every person through the comments that you make. That's an uphill task on 250 comments.

Don't comment; leave money on the table.

Yet, I've found that its worth commenting:

  1. I've learned new things from the responses I've got: new ideas, new perspectives on a particular topic. More importantly, at many times, one has a heart to heart interaction with people from all over the world. Even though I live in Dubai: over 200 nationalities are resident here, Steemit has enabled me to engage people from Athens to Caracas.
  2. My end game is to grab every opportunity to:
  • add value to someone else.
  • articulate my thoughts, ideas

A spin off from commenting is attention, hopefully WAO. eliminating the need to canvass or pester for votes or follows.

Thanks for this very interesting and colourful response here.

I am still going on those responses 24h later! But nearly there now :)
