What I find astonishing is that people find the ratio of likes vs views in platforms such as Youtube "normal". For example the Adele's Hello video has 2 billion views, 12 million likes and 666k dislikes. That is a 167/1 ratio.
So does this mean that only 1 out of every 167 people liked it...what is normal about that?
The ratio of comments to views is even worse 650k to 2 billion is a ratio of around 3000/1.
Even a steemit post with 120 votes and 3 views has a ratio of 40/1.
I'd say that one may simply be a matter of most people not bothering to either like or dislike a video on YouTube. I rarely do.
