RE: The Most Original Title You’ve Seen All Day

Happy Birthday @puravidaville!

Sorry, had to take care of that first. Happy 2-year Steemiversary to you, too! Glad you've stuck it out that long, because I can also attest to a whole lot of bumps in the Steem road along that time.

Coincidentally I was just talking with someone else this week about how I often need to remind myself that I am conversing with people all over the world. Humor is just one of the things that gets lost in the translation. I consider myself really lucky that I've found so many kindred spirits across all national borders, but then I know there are times where I have totally misunderstood someone else or been misunderstood myself. It happens, but the cool thing is this is a pretty rad place to learn from others.

At least you know I'll be over here snorting into my oatmeal on occasion as you make me laugh yet again...

Thank you so much, Plants. Even if you didn’t laugh, the virtual lie is such a thoughtful gesture, I can’t hear it from here or anything but I appreciate it. True story.

About all over the world. I’ve been really trippin on that lately, Plants, the weirdest things are happening these days and I’m often overwhelmed like “what in the F?!”

Eh, I’ll get wOrd from back home from a homeboy like “that Eddie Money article was awesome” or “Liverpool looks dope!” And these are friends who don’t have #steemit. Puras mom will leave me a line sometimes, her grandparents sometimes. I’ve even had a buddy say “eh, my mom told me to tell you she really liked the article you wrote yesterday” and these are people who aren’t on #steemit. It’s really starting to trip me out. ‘Am I saying too much? Should I have never started?’

I totally expect you to tell her happy birthday first, I mean, look who’s first on my own personal profile picture and who’s first letter of their first name is first in D and A? Pura.

Always a pleasure to hear from you @plantstoplanks—thanks for keeping me on my toes.
