This post is the best! Seriously. This is the thing i was explaining to my Friend yesterday!
She sometimes feels bad because her posts don't make anything (she's a newbie).
Usually when I resteem her posts they make around 10.00 Which isn't bad.
But I was explaining to her, That if the price goes to 4.00 it's basically like she made 40.00 for that post.

I also love that we have the same view on this! I haven't stopped posting, But back a few months ago, I cut it back quite a bit to focus on my businesses. But now I've dropped everything to really invest more time on the platform. I'm back up to writing my 4 posts a day!
This is probably the best opportunity for people who are new to be seen on the platform. They need to take advantage of.

Grow your followers NOW! So when the community is massive, You'll be seen.

Most people don't understand that what matters is how much share they have in the steem 'company'.
As many new users join in it's going to be more and more difficult to get a piece of the cake. This is why even if the price is very low people should keep posting because their share in the 'company' grow regardless of the price.

yes, good points.

Great insight! It's not about rewards now, but rewards later.

Exactly!

I think many have not yet realized this - When prices are low, you're getting far more Steem than normally, which you can then cash out in mania phase for a big profit. It's really a quite beautiful self correcting system, just like every stock market! But here you can buy low by just posting so one doesn't have to be a trader.

plus, not to forget... when was the last time anyone made anything posting on Facebook or other social media? :-)

Its really true. The only way to improve is to write constantly, the only way to get better. Then you can modify what works, trim what doesnt. To be succesfull on this platform on any other you have to continue to hone your craft until it works. IF someone post quality content every single day I dont see how they cant succeed.

Wise words at wise times, If we don't support steemit at its infancy, It will not support us at its youth. Our amount of time+efforts invested here is equal to the amount of great rewards we are creating for ourselves in future.
I agree with you wholly. I have already written an article for today and will write one everyday till I am on steemit.
Great rewards comes with Great efforts.

Because ultimately, it's quality content that makes this platform worth keep coming back to and enriches the lives of everyone here.
The ball is in your court... ;-)

Well said, @rok-sivante

Ive been loving posting on steemit and creating new content constantly. So excited to be here, we are even getting a drone to upgrade our production capabilities!

Steem Drone.

that sounds badass. lol.

Right, we are looking at the Mavic Pro to add to the production roster! Hoping to bring Steemit around the world with us on our next travels!

Thanks for sharing your journey, specially about the price going down from $4 to .2. I recently learned about STEEM so in my mind it always equates to approximately 1 USD.
FAIL FASTER is a new theme I am hearing from lots of entrepreneur mentors that I follow. Nobody likes failure but makes perfect sense if you want to succede and carve out your own niche.

Steem DOLLARS are supposed to be pegged to $1 USD. Though that hasn't been the case, which has worked in the favor of anyone redeeming their SBD rewards - though I'm really not sure who was buying them on the market, knowing they're only supposed to be worth a buck...

I love this! It's great advice and I agree with it completely. As long as you're having fun on Steemit, keep at it. It might just pay off extra well in the future :D

I am now 9 days deep in actively using steemit and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. This community is full of intelligent people who are willing to share their knowledge and in many cases their influence. I agree that building up your followers base thru hard work is key. I have a feeling that this platform is going to be mobbed soon and we will all need allies when that happens or get lost in the sea of humanity.

Simply adore THIS sort of info, @rok-sivante! Turns out, even though I'm a little new to the game, I figured out a lot of it is still good ol' fashioned Work, but when you love to creatively express yourself, in a supportive, intellectually mature community, it's hardly gonna feel like work, now is it?😉. This is a special sort of social community that wants every part to live "Symbiotically"😉. So, I say, Please fellow Steemian, keep posting.
Upvoted/Resteemed/Following
... And thx, again ;-)

I appreciate the feedback... :-)

Always appreciate the experience of others and the insights that they have to share. Food for the little fishies, yum, yum. Thank you.

Thanks for the motivation! As a new user, I will definitely take this advice into consideration.

Thanks for the motivation! I'm still new to this platform and I hope to keep steeming!!

Nicely done, great points. I understand what you mean about getting into a groove. When I first started I had trouble thinking of topics to cover. Now I have so many ideas I could write 10 articles a day if I had time! Other great blogs on Steemit, like yours, inspire me. They give me ideas and motivation. Steemit always amazes me with the caliber of content!

glad to hear you're finding value in my posts, and hope it shall be paid forward through your work to inspire others... ;-)

I hope so as well! I love the creative community here and want to do my part!
Keep on Steeming!

Insightful read! Thumbs up! 👍👍

Great post! In life it is truly about timing. This summer may be the time for Steemit.

Really nice writing overall! Steem price hitting more than $2-3 again would take a lot more people falling in love with this than already are in love with it though. But hey, here's hoping!

I was thinking to make a very similar post for tomorrow but you have covered me in every way possible. I can't possibly upvote this post enough

ha ha. "brilliant minds think alike," or so they say.

And no reason you still couldn't, as surely your outlook, perspective, and voice would come across as different and resonate with other readers more than mine... ;-)

I guess it doesn't hurt trying! :-)

I would if I could write in my native language and gain interest. Still early for us. Thanks for this post.

you could - plus take on some initiative in promoting locally to help grow the Steemit userbase in your country... ;-)

Can I offer a piece of constructive criticism?
I always wish your articles were about 30% shorter. Every single one.....
I think a lot of early adopters have returned full force......I got disillusioned too, and even though i was posting every other day, I still kept checking steemit, even when i was not logged in.
I somehow cannot ever disengage. Now I enjoy it more because of its expanse into Asia. I am starting to re-learn my Japanese.....I'll probably start posting bilingual ones now....
anyway, i am glad steemit didn't crash and burn. I would have been sooooooo depressed about that and would have lost so many friends i've gotten to know only on this platform. we have a different dynamic here than facebook. isn't that interesting....

of course you may. and, I appreciate that feedback.

I agree that's probably a great recommendation, as of course, alot of readers have short attention spans, so makes sense to pack alot of punch into a smaller package. and of course, shorter posts would mean less time invested, thus greater return on work investment. so a win-win. gonna get implementing this ASAP. thank you. :-)

ha ha! My confession is that I have barely made it through one of your posts in its entirety.

Great advice. I do want to write for a living eventually and this post is good for thought Upvoted and followed. I've been finding great advice in the last few days from early adopters. I'm sure all of us who have come over recently appreciate any sage advice. If you have time take a look at my post at @tremdospercy as any criticism will be welcomed good or bad. I know I need to tone down some of the rants and will work on it.

Great insight and quite inspiring. I just hope I have the consistency to follow your advice. Currently, I'm not an active writer here at all, but I realize that this needs to change.

This is a great way to look at posting. Basing the reward of writing good content on the future price at Steem helps keep me motivated.

This is a good way to look at it. So true. Hard work will pay off!

I didnt had the lucky to join steemit so early , but soon i will be a full year around . I stop post for like 3 months due my hard health problems but ever sins i amd back i havend had more than a day without posting . Even when the prise was at 0.07 amd my posts actualy stayed at 0.01 payment . I just stay positive and the things can go only better right ?

Great sentiment post. I'd sure be happy with 100$ steem.

Rok on!

great inspirations ... it can be exhausting writing at times but no school, teacher or workshop ever got me crackin'like steemit did... i burnt out, but now Im badder than everrrr

Ha ha ha! :-D

Your rapid pace of quality posts is inspiring @rok-sivante, it must take a lot of time and hard work to keep it up.

I'm up to four posts per week now, which feels good... One per day would be excellent, as I'd probably earn even more, but I'm trying to be careful and only post as often as I can at 100% quality.
