Nice post. It's helpful to see another newbie's perspective on Steemit. I think that we should forget about the value of our account and just use it as a regular blog that shows our interests. I think that just being a decent person will make your posts reach people in the long run. It's definitely nice to get paid for content but it's a lot nicer to know that a platform is making money off your information. I forgot who said it but "If something is free then you are the product" Ever since I heard that about 7 years ago I deleted all social media. This is the first social media that I have trusted in 7 years. I think getting a good community on here is the biggest goal.

We can't ignore that there is a huge money aspect even if that's not our primary target. I personally don't intend on pulling funds from Steemit for quite some time. I agree that being a decent person will have its advantages in the world of social media. The quote really resonated with me so thank you for sharing.
