RE: Ode to my friends on steemit! How did I become so attached to everyone??

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

It's a cool post @lynncoyle and needed to be put out there. I see one of the newbie teams also resteemed so that's great. I don't have ready access all the time. There is a lot of dead ground around. Also I am not at a desk having no cpu, but do everything one character after another meaning only one finger-tip, not typing 😂 A bit slow, but that keeps my grammar together (hopefully) and also slows me enough to think between the lines. Always good in today's rush. I'll often have a gardening or cooking show on in the background too so my attention can get split which uses time also. Now I have more addresses to check out which is good, as sometimes, trying to catch a good post as 'created' wizzes by can be difficult, and on a phone if I look at one, often returning to list takes me back to 2 seconds ago, so scrolling begins again, looking for that view one saw and couldn't catch 😆. I looked at a robots driver's line, but discovered that although the copy/paste robot had made thousands $, the owner hadn't put up more than two posts in eight weeks. 😯 So please excuse my uncertain attitude to many long term steemians, as they do not talk of these difficult challenges very often, and even though at one level I don't really care that much, it is a bit much when 'they' whomever, can reduce my reputation, and at same time neither blog nor discuss anything, but make $, And call me names, whilst my followers still increase. Duh or Doh, or whatever the cartoon characters say these days. I have enough reputation at my home and location, to not give a hoot for those internet bullies, but I really dislike idiot's such as they bringing the community of steemit into disrepute, because of their obnoxious bullying. Maybe I'm wrong, but from the comments to my line, I don't think so. Anyway, brilliant post of yours. I'm very glad to put it up, and Thank-you for writing such.
May the blessings be.

Well thank you again then! I was an English teacher in Canada for years, and truthfully, your English is really pretty good. Of course there's some errors, but the beauty of it is that native English speakers can totally see past that and understand what you are saying, instead of focusing on grammar etc.

I just ran across this post where @crazybgadventure is doing something like my post every Saturday with a tag #shoutoutsaturdays, encouraging everyone to do the same! Seems like an awesome idea to me:)

Cheers :)
