Yes, I experience that as well, although I dont know the underlying cause... I think it is other posts from that same day getting more upvotes than yours which is just stable.
Then your relative rewards distribution lowers.

Yup, I figured that it had something to do with the reward pool and the platforms overall voting activity, but I wasn't sure. I guess it's safe to assume that there's no way around it. It sucks because it hit fairly hard the last time it happened to me.
The only way around it is to get more votes coming later and less at the beggining :P
