    All the censorship on facebook and twitter is getting obnoxious. Recently a german couple were jailed for having a PRIVATE group where they disgussed how Merkel's migrant policy is killing the country. Just wow.

    In addition with the time there will be many more whales in steemit, whereas in facebook there will continue being only one.

    Not to mention, without whales, imagine the incredible flood of bitcointalk-level, FB/Twitter-'SMO'-companies-selling-'Likes'-mode giant heaps of spam from tens of thousands of hungry developing-world plebes that would pollute the whole site lol..

        There is very much some whale power there. The good thing is that at least whale power here means you gain from it if they find you. Where are on facebook no one else gains. Thank goodness steemit arrived in our lives :)
