@yulem, you bring up a great point - LACK OF JUDGMENT. This happens for various reasons, one of which is being to causal in our comments. We might read a post, but we did not really read it.
And as a result, we write comments that do not truly reflect reality. I really appreciate the real-life example you gave.

Ouch! We need groups of people and mentors to help us grow and keep us accountable. I totally understand your designated driver reference. Honestly, I am not sure how well it translates outside of the US. I lived in Indonesia for almost 10 years. I never heard anyone mention an idea even close to designated-driver, but using alcohol is illegal, so drunk driving should not have been a problem (at least in theory).
