Hi @allerie00, thank you for giving us a Steemit History lesson! In a short span of time, there have been several improvements from what it was before. This is a great encouragement for us newbies who are struggling. It was even harder before - I couldn't imagine fewer curation guilds, few whales and lot of flags!
Those who stuck around have grown a lot now. So I will stick around because I'm sure that Steemit is just going up and improving. And I also have even more admiration to those who stayed through history :)

Yes I cannot imagime too what struggles that first generation of steemians went through. If they were able to survive with those stuggles in the platform then the more we can survive now that we are now at the best of times!
