What a great one @danielsaori! This truly looks scrumptious! Heres what I commented on the original post...
Ohh my goodness!! Lemon is a favorite of mine! Its so bright and tangy, whats not to love! This recipe has me super excited. Its so simple and easy to follow. The ingredients are simple and I have all in the pantry already! And a video? How genius of you! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful recipe with us, looking forward to surprising the family with it!
Thanks for the opportunity and a big thanks to @hitmeasap for the great donation!
Confirmed!
I will be waiting for your post: "I made a lemon pie because of Steemit!" ;)
Haha! What better excuse to make a pie!?
You're welcome and I'm happy to help! :)
@danielsaori does a great job with this and I just simply thought that a small donation could come to use. :)
He sure does!
Lemon pie led me to memories)) The lemon pie is the cake of my childhood. My mother often cooked it at my request. A few months ago, I decided to cook this cake and please my family with a delicious pie. I made a short pastry for the cake. Everything was done correctly .... the dough was delicious)). I took a baking dish and distributed the short pastry. Then I chopped lemons and rubbed with sugar. I crushed the whole mass in a blender. Poured into the formed bowl of dough. Then one layer of dough covered it and baked in the oven. It is possible that the pie would have been delicious, but I got lemons with a very bitter skin, I did not try it. It was necessary to remove the peel. Unfortunately, I did not do this. In the end, my pie was very bitter. The children and the wife refused to eat it. I ate it in splendid isolation)) Now, from any thought of a lemon pie, I have a jaw cramp in my cheek and start to bitter in my mouth.
Confirmed!
That is a great personal comment Barski.
Regarding the witness voting, I'm not sure what the issue is. Sometimes the Steemit interface can have delays which can cause some strange behaviors. But seems to have worked now. Thanks for the vote and the support!
I saw that you donated a large sum to a sick person. And this is my little blessing to you.
Congratulations on winning the 1st prize!
Thank you so much! It turns out that I lost one battle with the pie, but the war, I won!)) My wife said that now it will be more often to allow me to bake the oven pies)) Congratulations to all participants! Blessed be your day! Greetings from a small Moldova!
@danielsaori - thank you for the challenge and helping minnows and others to improve and make progress!
Here is my comment -
"@tesscooks4u - Good post, clear and easy to follow recipe and instrucions. Full disclosure - I know nothing about baking. But the pie looks great, and from the ingredients list, sure to be tasty!
When I watched the video I was surprised to hear you first mention 'the good memories' that making this pie brought back. Because my grandmother is the first thing I thought of.
My grandmother loved to bake - biscuits, buns, pies, cookies and more. She used an old style combo wood / oil fired stove, lots of heat in the winter. Lemon meringue pie was one of her productions. Yes, the smell of something baking in the oven is lovely.
Thank you for the post!"
Confirmed!
Great comment MMO. I'm impressed, especially when you opened with "I know nothing about baking" ;)
SteemOn buddy!
Thank you!
Congratulations on winning the 2nd prize!
I wish you a nice weekend.
Thank you!
@danielsaori - Thank you for the second prize and the 3 SBD! That is more than I made from all previous posts and comments I made in the last month combined. Made me feel like it was Christmas again ; )
The best thing you did was to clearly inform us on the methodology guiding its preparations using a well detailed video.

Hello @tesscooks4u, you have really refreshed our memory on one of the greatest gift of nature which is lemon..
It is really amazing using one of the greatest gift of nature to make delicacies. Custard which is starch and lemon which is a vitamin have an alternate relationship, the first is best for quick energy generation and the latter an appetizer good for body nourishment. So intake of this recipe, i can imagine the good it does to our body cells. As a biochemist I therefore recommend that we steemians take our time and try this recipe.
Lemon Sponge Pie recipe is of no doubt a good delicacy. I believe in its uniqueness.
Thank you for the copious and detailed information of how it can be prepared.
Thanks @danielsaori for another wonderful opportunity like this to get informed.
Confirmed!
Will you be trying to make it yourself? I hope to get some time for it myself in the near future to try it out.
Yes of course sir...
I must give it a trial...
Thank you @danielsaori for this contest. You are really supportive.

Yeah, I do. Strawberry shortcakes, they tastes delicious.
Awesome promotion and wow what a pie :)
I was pleasantly surprised when I clicked that link and seen how amazing that pie looked. I almost chipped a tooth biting my computer screen before I realized it was just a picture of a pie and not the actual real thing.
Confirmed!
Happy to hear that your tooth is safe. :)
Another great addition to your game @danielsaori! Here is my reply:
I love that @danielsaori found yet another awesome and diverse post to have us comment on this week. While I will never be mistaken as a person who could make this piece of beauty, I am certainly one that would enjoy the finished product. ;)
I love lemon pie and this looks very tasty indeed. If you were near me, I would keep you busy with orders as I could eat this every day!!! And the presentation if very good, it looks like something you would find in a fine artsy New York restaurant. :)
Good job on the post and I hope you and your family really enjoys eating this Tess. I'm sure it will taste as good as it looks, and that is the real joy in making such a wonderful creation!
Confirmed!
I would like to go to one of those fine artsy New York restaurants. I hope you invite me one day. ;)
Was still logged in with my curation bot...
I confirm that is was confirmed! :)
lol... that's ok.... I had a hunch your bot didn't come up with that response on its own! A yes that would be a cool thing to do one day, meet and have a nice dinner in New York when steem hits $100 :)
Thanks for confirming the confirm of my entry!
Seems like I was a bit distracted. A lot to think about with this move, a lot of dust to deal with. :)
Let's keep that dinner plan open. Even if STEEM only hits $50 I would be happy. ;)
lol... Yes cleaning that dust out (in addition to moving countries and jobs) is a lot of work... Well you will deserve that dinner when steem hits $50, so I guess we could make it $50 instead of $100 ;)
Your recipe is simple and the pie looks delicious. It appeals to my taste buds. I am just imagining how it will taste with the lemon juice and zest added to it. I know it will taste great but I have to try it out. I just hope that I will get it right. The pie will be perfect for breakfast.
Confirmed!
You know what they say "when life gives you lemons MAKE PIE". That looks absolutely delicious and considering I have soooo many lemons I now know what I can do with some of them! I would appreciate the recipe for the candied lemon slices too! Looking forward to trying your pie and thanks for sharing it with us!
Confirmed!
I hope you get around making the pie, and then writing about it. That would be a cool thing to do. :)
Great job @tesscooks4u...
There is just one word for the look of your piece and that is "perfect".
It has the touch of a master and all i wish now is to get a taste of it. Bravo on quite a masterpiece.

Here is my comment:
Am a water burner but with buds for great delicacies.
This looks like something I would love to try out.
Though am not a fan of lemons, but I'll give this a shot coz I can't resist what my eyes see and my brain is processing it in a way that's making me salivate massively.

Hello, everyone. I came to this @danielsaori challenge out of pure curiosity, I don't really have much experience on this type of platform, and I'm in the process of learning, and stumbling upon this recipe seemed great, thanks @tesscooks4u for sharing it, even though I'm not at all compatible with the kitchen, I'm going to try to prepare it, I hope it goes well and I'm already a lover of foods that like life have that ambiguity of flavors between bitter and sweet, which leave in each bite an endless number of sensations and above all take you to special moments and at the same time are creating new memories. Greetings.
Confirmed!
Thank you for your entry May.
