RE: Why is GENUINE COMMENTING on steemit so IMPORTANT?? (and @abh12345's Curation League)

I liked your post, and Asher is a fantastic person. Commenting, I think a lot of new users are intimidated by commenting. I know I was, fortunately I got over that, by commenting. Comments are a vital part to any post, often times the comments and responses from the original post shed a little bit more light on what they were trying to get across. And sometimes, the comments, well they make you laugh, especially some of the comments I have seen made back to the two word comment "Nice Post" So so many funny responses to that one still at times.

haha @bashadow, I've spit my drink out a few times watching @themanwithnoname replying to those "nice post" comments!

And you're right about the comments on a post; I always read through the whole thing, often before I even leave a comment myself. We all have to reach a point of understanding that everyone here has something of value to offer, and the beginning and end of a post is NOT the end at all. Every single person who genuinely comments adds value to that post and often we can all learn something new there.

I never really thought about commenting being intimidating for some people, which is not very empathetic on my part. It's obviously a big hurdle for some, but again, you are correct...by forcing yourself to comment more and more, that intimidation eventually fades into the woodwork.

And last, but certainly not least, Asher is fantastic!! His selfless attitude and willingness not only to help others, but really take joy in their success is a rarity for sure. I think we've surrounded ourselves with a lot of people who are exactly like that... yourself included ;)

As always, thank you so much for stopping by!
