Hi Ilyas! I've been wondering lately what's up with Power up 100% and 50% both paying out in SP and SBD. I thought the point of Power up (when posting) is that you get the entire payout in Steem Power only, not Steem or Steem Dollars. Yet I still see that I get a (miniscule, lol) payout in SP as well as SBD. I think the 50/50 option doesn't pay out in SP but in Steem directly (as well as SBD), letting you choose whether you want to power up or not. Either way, I struggle to make sense of the math because I'm not getting anywhere near 50/50. Sometimes it's more SP than SBD but I consistently can't make any sense of it at all. I've looked up information about it but it's all old and outdated by now. For instance people swear by the fact that SBD is worth more than Steem but that's not the case anymore, you can get something like 1.15 or 1.20 SBD for every Steem now (so the other way around).
I've raised that in the past, it's really needlessly obscure how the payouts vary with time passed and even at the point of paying out as well.
Thanks for your good guides! It's very informative, at this point you should just add that to the official FAQ because it's more detailed than the official info.
I saw your rewards. I think you are using 50/50 option by default. Currently, 50/50 is more profitable. If you need more SP, just convert your SBD rewards to Steem and power up. I have covered it in how to buy Steem from internal market guide.
