Haha don’t worry, most of our international friends say the same! We try to get them to visit Yorkshire but everyone just wants to see London! The rest of England is so much better!!
So I have heard! Maybe we will make it our holiday this year, which areas would you recommend (of course, Yorkshire)? Is it hard to get around, would we need a car?
Yes, you'd definitely be better off with a car. Yorkshire is awesome (obviously!) but the Lake District (especially around Windermere and Ambleside) is probably the best place to stay! Scotland is pretty spectacular too if you have a car!
That said, even if you don't have a car we've had couples fly over from abroad for shoots in the Lake District and they have taken a train from London to Windermere without any problems. London to Leeds is only about £20 on the train but Yorkshire's difficult without a car!

Yep! The Lake District is my favourite place in the UK, my wife and I love it! What did you imagine England to look like?
I don't know, I have only been in London. So I expect something a bit dreary and rainy with too many cars and people!
