SteemitPhotoChallengeEntry #1
(Canon 6D, 17-40mm f/4)
Steemit has been fantastic for me these past couple of months, most of all because my landscape images seem to be the ones that do best. That's not to say I don't love shooting and sharing wedding images, but Landscape photography has always been a passion of mine, long before I even shot my first wedding. Getting a positive response for my personal photography is a really nice feeling when I haven't 'put work out there' that wasn't my professional work for years now!
All Images are mine and copyright belongs to me.
Please RESTEEM if you like my work.

Stunning! Which country is that? :)
Thanks! It's Cumbria in England :)
Really? This is not at all what I pictured England to look like in my mind.
Yep! The Lake District is my favourite place in the UK, my wife and I love it! What did you imagine England to look like?
I don't know, I have only been in London. So I expect something a bit dreary and rainy with too many cars and people!
Haha don’t worry, most of our international friends say the same! We try to get them to visit Yorkshire but everyone just wants to see London! The rest of England is so much better!!
So I have heard! Maybe we will make it our holiday this year, which areas would you recommend (of course, Yorkshire)? Is it hard to get around, would we need a car?
Landscapes FTW!
Definitely!
@skiesandsports Are you sure Hoya ND1000 Filter was used in this shot? It doesn't look like long exposure - just check how ripples on the water look :)
Though composition is great!
Great spot @ansharphoto! You're totally right, I used it for most of the shots that morning but not this one! Ammended!
Lovely, especially the low angle take on this. Gorgeous place!
Thanks @lpreap, it is such a stunning location, most of the Lake District is! We love it there!
That is a great shot!
Thank you!
Wonderful! Good luck!
Thank you! This competition seems super competitive so I'll need all the luck I can get!
