As some of you may already know, I have received 1250 Delegated Steem Power from @dimimp months ago. This simple act of him alone helped me greatly in increasing my visibility on this platform and attracted a lot of people over to my steem blog (yeah It's amazing what Steem Power can do). So thanks once again @dimimp :)
While a 1250 DSP only gives around $0.11 worth of upvote at full power with the current Steem price, it did allow me to scale my votes enough to give back to people who have been constantly supporting me all this time and have been fairly interactive with me on this platform making most of my daily rants a little worth it. Because of the little increase in SP, I managed to get the attention of some minnows and even some dolphins.
God rage quits while giving away over 50,000 in LIQUID STEEM. While I do believe this is a pretty smart move, I just don't have that much knowledge yet on investing nor do I have enough money to begin with.But not all things are permanent. Unfortunately yesterday, @dimimp decided to power down some of his Steem Power to pursue investing in "payments network". You can read the whole post here:
Because of this, he offered to buy out each Space Force members delegation on a rate of 1/6 in liquid Steem.
Because time is money, I am offering to buy out each and every one of your contracts at a rate of 1/6 in liquid STEEM.Seeing as I have 1250 delegation I would probably get around 208 STEEM if I do choose the Steem buyout over DSP, considering all of this is free and purely on his good will, I really don't have any rights to complain here.
And the option I chose was the STEEM buy out, as to the reason why I choose Steem over DSP. I am under contract for SteemJet only for this year so this really is a great deal for me. This also is one of the main reason why I am so hell bent in gaining at least 1000 SP before the year ends so that when the time comes(although too early) I can still go around supporting others and myself.
Anyways, this is more or less a heads up to people who have been supporting me for a while now. You might see a significant drop on my upvote value starting from today or tomorrow. I do hope nothing much will change though and you guys will still support me even if my Steem Power wasn't as good as before (but I would understand if you guys won't) :)
As for the Steem that I will be receiving, I would immediately power it all up to compensate the significant drop of my effective steem power and would probably shift and reduce some delegations I had done towards other communities I had delegated to. Yep! I am that open to all of my Steem plans and activities lol
And if you are a dolphin/orca/whale in excess of some Steem Power, I highly nominate myself to be a recipient of those excess :)

You are one of the few on Steemit from who I actually value the content of, in that regard I don't really look much at the SP (getting a vote back is not required even though it's highly appreciated). I have some general things I look at when it comes down to putting people on my personal upvote list without asking anything in return whatsoever.
One of the things is SP (that can be used to support the community) in relation to the average daily post earnings. I have a weakness to support steemians that have a longer term growing mindset, have some steem power they use to support others while their post earnings are sometimes lower compared to a 10x self upvote. (for example someone with 0.05$ upvotes who gets 3$ + daily post earnings worth does not really need any support from the angle I look at it)
It's a very tricky thing to increase your own post earnings on Steemit without hurting what you are able to give back to others. I don't really know what ratio is acceptabe of leased out SP to get higher Post earnings vs Owned SP that makes your upvote worth more. I do know that it really puts me off when I see accounts that have a large part of their SP leased out to get daily upvotes on their own posts in return.
It is one of the reasons why I put in a rule of 40SP owned for each share someone can get from the @upvoteshares account.
Thanks @costanza and same here, it also turns me off seeing an account delegating most if not all of its SP to bid bots or other services in exchange for daily guaranteed profits and leaving nothing much to offer for others. I see it as too self-centered and honestly greedy.
The 1250 delegation I received did allow me though to freely delegate most of my SP to some communities, in order to increase my daily guaranteed upvotes without hurting my reputation that much. Since the delegation was time limited, I think this was the best way to increase my SP fast without self-voting.
Also one of the reason why I am immediately powering up the received Steem is because of your upvoteshares iniative as I don't want to cause any problems :)
I have also reduced and even undelegated to some of the "inactive" accounts I have created for people I have invited over to steem, which would make my effective SP at 300 after a week.

Anyway I think that bargain is really nice gesture from him. When the price spikes again that will be a whole lot of $$ and it brings you closer to your 1000 sp goal.

You can't really tell if you're still going to be getting the same support you were getting before when you had a little sp. Only those you have real relationship with will continue supporting you. If your sp is worthless in steemit, gaining support is very difficult. Though your delegation was free and you'll be getting some steem from them, so it's a win win situation for you. Don't be scared of losing your support. Those that will support you will still support you whether your sp is high or not
