RE: 4 reasons why SteemPeak.com is now the best way to share posts

in #steempeak6 years ago

Would it be possible to build in a function to resteem over 7 days old posts, as an opportunity to open a new 7-days-period for rewards to this post? It could be a post that embeds the original post and that has automatically 100% beneficiaries for the original author. A frontend-based solution for the 7-day-problem and making timeless content more valuable.

We are working to allow votes in posts older than 7 days. It's similar to the solution you proposed but we'll just add a comment with the beneficiary set to the post author. This way a standard resteem should work too.

That is nice to know. Does that mean these comment will be hidden(on Steampeak) but new votes+rewards will be redirected to it and added to the post(the post as it is shown on Steempeak)?

Not sure the comment must be hidden, but yes that's how it should work

Revolutionary, brilliant!
