Avocados had very bad fame, some time ago people thought that they only had harmful fats, and provided too many calories.
Recent studies discover that the avocados contribute with a substantial cuantity of monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants of great benefits for health. Apart from all that, they contain more potassium and magnesium than bananas, contain fibers that contribute with a sane digestion and are of great help to fight cancer.
It is a good idea to incorporate them in our daily diet, you can make salads, and eat with just salt and olive oil.
I will give a recipe of a dip that the only garnish that needs is wholemeal bread or an arepa for venezuelans
Dip of avocado
Ingredients:
1 avocado
half onion red o white cut in tiny pieces
1 chilly cut in tiny pieces
1/2 cup of coriander leaves
salt to taste
vinegar
olive oil

Preparation
Mash the avocado, add the onion, chilly, coriader leaves
adjust salt, vinegar
mix with a fork so that you can find pieces of avocados, don´t make a pureé
serve placing olive oil on top and decorate with coriander leaves

Apart from the dip you can make salads with avocados, tomatoes, onion, lettuce, cucumber, salt and olive oil, eat this salad with slices of wholemeal bread, there is no dish that compare with this salad, full of nutrients to preserve life.

Have you ever tried to cook the avocado soup? so you need to take one ripe avocado, 1 cucumber, 1 garlic clove, mix it together in the food processor, add half of the glass of water and the amazing soup is ready!

Mmmm! I love avocados. I like to have it on a good piece of wholewheat toast, with lots of salt, pepper, paprika and lemon. Yumm!
@princessmewmew thanks for your commentary. At home we eat it daily, here this time of year we have plenty of avocados and are very cheap then they get very expensive
it is exactly the same here! in season really cheap, and we eat them a lot, and out of season, VERY expensive!
