When they excavated this stone Buddha, the head was removed. It seemed that Japanese soldiers cut off the head of stone buddha.
As having posted several times before, the Buddhist temple in Korea was very unique in its role for national security. In the case of the provocation from outside, the Buddhist temple did a role of the army.
So the destruction of the temple was inevitable during the foreign invasion.
When they discovered the body, people made the head and put it on the body.
The sculpture in Baekje Dynasty was very excellent, but in this case there was an unbalance in the sculpture.
The sculpture was consist of two parts. The background of the sculpture was a relief. The flame and the buddhas were carved there. This background relief looked like a typical example of Baekje kingdom's Buddhist art.

Hey there, my name is Justine and I’ve been downvoting you for quite some time as I feel the voting ring you have set up takes away value from the inflation pool.
You should remember me as you returned my 20 cent downvotes with multiple $8 ones, which is fair.. but I think you are missing the big picture here, so let me explain.
I understand you invested a lot of money into STEEM and are currently probably sitting at a loss due to the change in the market. That is a loss you should have been prepared for (just like I was with the downvotes) due to the risk of investment in of volatile market. But I do understand the frustration.
Here’s the thing - much of the behavior you are taking part in is the reason for the drop in price, so you really are hurting your own investment when you partake in these activities.
Now with the recent changes in the HF many of us (including very large stakeholders) are working to make your investment (as well as all of ours) worth more.
That’s right, I want that STEEM you hold to be worth more, don’t you?
With these changes you don’t have to self vote or auto vote your club of shit posters, you can actually make a return by contributing positively to the ecosystem now. Wouldn’t you prefer to get a return while also helping to improve the price? Just ask @trafalgar... as he’s actively changing his behavior to do just that, and just like you - he is an investor who is sitting at a “loss.”
If you continue this current behavior I will continue to downvote you, as I don’t really care about your retaliation. I will also push to have other stakeholders help in stopping not only your detrimental behavior, but everyone’s in your ring. Just so you’re aware, I’m not going anywhere.
So why don’t you join us in improving this place so the STEEM we hold is worth more? Instead of your current method. I believe you would be much happier with a higher price in STEEM, just like the rest of us would be. No reason you should be sitting at a loss, right?
This is your official invite to #newsteem... we would love to have you. 🙂
Hi Justine, @justinehit is very sad to see such comment from you side and to realize that some people may be chased for their free decision and opinions, but if they play according your rules then they will be supported. That makes me a bit anxious and remind witch hunt, especially seeing such massive downvotes like with "promobot", "theycallmedan". Why not instead to upvote those little creative people whose works with such accounts who have only cents and struggling.
I agree with @slowwalker comment bellow in order to do his posts he is traveling around his country and collecting his photographs accompanying with his stories so far he can in order to create the posts. He is not a professional journalist or producer but simple human, therefore we just share what we want to like the heritage of the country, the history and his own thoughts. Is it now been punished.
While such behavior downvote war we will just make people to leave the platform and of course to withdraw their investment. Is that what now you and your team want?
I am writing in open so that people read it and I wanted my opinion to be known too in regards to downvotes too, because I was never a fan of it.
I know you from past Justine and I really respect you but I do not think that such posts, that was created with own words and photographs, original in their nature, should be downvoted.
I have no team, I just made a comment to ask someone who has been abusing the platform for years to please reconsider such abuse.
This is essentially everything I do on Steem.
As far as this post, it’s one of his many alts he uses to take as much out of the inflation pool as possible - which takes away from all those little creative people you mentioned. See those accounts voting him? All him.. see their posts too? Yep.. all him.
If you like the content and think it’s worthy of removing $60 plus from the rewards pool (which takes away from those little creatives struggling), then upvote it. I feel it’s abusing a shared pool of inflation and therefore I have used my downvotes to show this as well as tried to open up communication.
His words seems very innocent but his actions show otherwise, please don’t fall for empty words 🙂
Well placed ✌💙. @justineh

You'll probably have to wait about 6 days for a response. There's a bit of a lag between him pushing from steempress to actually downvoting you! ;)
Your obsession with @berniesanders is pathetic. Get a life.
Very nice pic, thanks

I like your pics.
Too bad that the original head isn't there anymore.
Interesting they removed the head. I am sure it was meant as a final disgrace for the Koreans.
The head of Buddha has a hidden meaning, which is beyond my teachings, but to trivialize his importance by beheading him was perhaps the ultimate insult to the people of Korea.
As always, have a most wonderful day.
