One of the impressive beauty in a Korean Buddhist temple is the wall, in my guess. So, when I dropped by the temples, I carefully look around the wall and the pillars. Its simplicity embraces various expressions.
Close shoot, the white wall divided by the wooden parts seemed to have the geometrical beauty.
The pillars when looking close show us the complexity in the form of simplicity.

The same type of buildings were built in Europe, when the wood was incorporated into the wall and so you could see white painted wall with dark wood between. As to pillars I like their natural trunk shapes that is why they all look different, everyone is unique. it is interesting that people left little stones in the wood :)
That's a beautiful blend of nature and architecture there
