My submission for the second part:
Lynda dies in the crash. Cindy and Kenny are hurt and need to stay in the hospital to recover. Sandra visits them often, consoling Kenny and playing happily with Cindy. After they’re discharged from the hospital, Sandra brings food to their house and keeps them company. Kenny continues to ask himself why Sandra has been acting so differently, trying to find some ulterior motive. He can’t find any fault with Sandra’s behavior.
Sandra visits regularly for many days after Lynda is laid to rest — so often that Cindy calls her “Aunt Sandra.” One night, after helping put Cindy to bed, she stays with Kenny a little while longer, sitting outside, talking. Sandra confides in him how lonely she is. Kenny is still unsure whether to believe she’s truly lonely, or simply trying to put him in her grasp. But he’s lonely, too. They spend the night together.
Thank you for your valid summary.
