From what I've read, yes actually. A number of the coins were designed to by put on a strong so you could wear them and not lose them. I guess that was before wallets and coin purses.
haha! that sounds retarded to me but hey, well I guess it depends where you wore them at, it seems like you would be advertising how much money you had.

Like this? ;)
Maybe they wear the coins under the shirt. I'm not really sure. I like to not advertise how much money I have, but that's just me. Maybe in some cultures, it was the thing to do, and maybe they had low crime. No clue, man! As a man once said, "I'm just a singer of simple songs" or something like that. :D
That's a really fun stage to be at because you know you're close and you can almost taste it, but you're not quite there yet. It's very exciting! I'm happy that you're plugging along so well. You talk with a lot of people, so the more SP you have, the more Steemit is going to grow. :D
yes I agree...is your account growing about the same as always by doing a post a day and not busting your hump? At least for awhile there you said that you weren't. It seems like if you post everyday then you keep growing no matter what and you don't have to kill yourself.
Growth is hard to figure out. It seem like I grow by around 1 Steem per day. Sometime more, but it should be at least 1 Steem per day. That's not too bad. It means in a year I'll have another 365+ Steem. It's not going to make me rich, but it could help my retirement someday if Steem actually takes off.
I like not killing myself on Steemit. The payout isn't good enough right now. What I should be doing is getting a part-time job anywhere, even McDonalds and then putting that money into Steem. I'd be miles ahead of where the working on Steem is getting me. Just some thoughts. With Steem at $0.70, if I made $10/hr for 4 hours, I'd take home at least $32 of that. That means I'd be able to buy at least 45 Steem per day by having a little part-time job instead of Steeming all day. 45 per day times 365 is over 16,000 Steem in a year. That's assuming the price stays the same though.

hahaha! hey look I'm almost to 400sp, the delegation goes away at the end of this month so I'm busting my butt to try and get to 500 on my own.
Yeah they probably had a totally different culture which we wouldn't understand.
