Thx for your reply, my friend and a happy new year to you too! I can understand your attitude. In order to do justice to all, there should be an equivalent in the form of another system besides the donation based system. So we could have both, delegations and donations.
(delegations are calculated at a rate of 100SP=4STEEM)
For the nickel status I would have to delegate 250 SP in this calculation = 12%
For the silver status I would have to delegate 1250 SP in this calculation = 30 %
For the gold status I would have to delegate 2500 SP in this calculation = 60%
But why is a 30% vote much more expensive than the 12% vote?!
A fair calculation would have to be worked out here.
The higher tiers are more expensive because the larger members are fine with contributing more for less return in order to give to community and help the smaller memebers.
If you have any issue why is copper so high? Just vote daily with your 50SP and give a total of $.50 after the end of the month? Because those are committed and smaller members we want to help and support.
The donations are high, since a few guys saw the vision and invested heavily in the dream and through the leasing of SP Stax now has an over $13 upvote to support the community. It would be a slap in the face to then to let anyone who delegates 20.00000 Vests reap an overly high portion of the rewards. The Tiers are set to give back slightly more to the lower members from the support of the larger. And now Stax is canabolizing herself to lease SP for the betterment of everyone at large to ensure the highest rewards for the users.
