A quick look at memos tells me that sorting the payouts won't be a problem. With a few exceptions such as frank underwood - which will be refunded - all memos are easy to parse using regular expressions.

I have nothing yet either. You would think that they would resolve things rather than have an entire discussion where the six hour claim was proven wrong.
I voted for Trump, and I won. So I do have incentives to get paid as soon as possible. This 6 hour window does not exist to piss people off...its an opportunity to get more eyeballs and ensure correctness of results. The payout system is being used for the first time, and we better be safe than sorry.
It's 7 hours now. I was around when BitInstant had difficulties with their payment system. Not answering people causes this kind of thread. It seems that all the sports betting works just fine though I have never tried it. Again, this was my first time sending any money out to steemsports.
I do appreciate your concerns, and I acknowledge they are completely valid.
I would rather see payments delayed, and triple check everything, and run a simulation one more time, than be on time - but wrong.
The transaction id things made it seem like it had been sent or something. I deal with so many cryptos - they all melt together now. I suppose it's a transaction number from the bet bot?

I don't understand the odds yet. For SBD was 7.28 for Trump and for Steem was 3.28 ?
Less Steem was paid in, they are separate pools.

If 100 people voted $1 for Trump, and 100 people voted $1 for Hillary, both sides would have $100 worth of bids, and your risk/reward would be 1:1, meaning you could only double or nothing.
If the sides are uneven however, the risk/reward shifts. If you have $700 in votes for Hillary, and $100 for Trump, then a vote for trump will yield 7:1, netting a nice gain. A vote for Hillary would only yield money back + a small piece of $100. (assuming you win in both cases, if you lose, you get $0).
STEEM and SBD are different currencies, so they have their own pools.

You have placed your bet after the game has already closed. The game closed before election results from votes started coming out, so that the game is fair for everyone.
Been paid back for my bet. I waited an hour before my first complaint. Then they said "no 6 hours"
It took 7 hours. At least I can close these tabs now!!
I don't want to be that guy, but, if you read the post again, carefully, you will see there was no 6 hours claim made anywhere. 'Sometime later today', after 6 hour window, does not mean 6 hours to the point from now. It means 'sometime later today'.
Brains, also please remember we just ran our first Beta or even Alpha of live bets, and it worked perfectly! Only the payment took a few hours which is quite reasonable.
A well run game. and I'm not just saying that because I won. The blockchain has proven it's worth again!
