I do not agree with you. Why at work we can not say no? And at work all our personal lives are. And if you say yes when you want to say you do not look at yourself and your loved ones. Have a nice day and thank you for your post!

Well, if you have a "bossy boss" it is hard to say NO in front of him because you can get kick out from work...it is Romania we are talking about :))) Of course you can say NO in a different way but depends on how you say it and how the other person will react ... for example, in my work it`s easy to say NO because I do not have a boss, I do my own schedual as I desire, but beeing too in a an international project I can not say NO when the manager calls me at 10 PM to do some paper work because in the morning Bulgaria (the big chief office) has to sign them ....
