His initial complaint was about visibility.
That has been solved for, he sets his rewards to burn, and hw's doesn't ding him for spam.
It never was political.

Where was that initial complaint? This is the one I have seen, and that you were replying to.
3rd sentence.
He wasn't targeted for anything, but spam.
But, he misunderstood that, and reacted emotionally.
I think you misunderstand his meaning. I took it to mean causing them to leave the platform because of deliberately and punitively taxing their content. Also, making the content require clicking to reveal it disables certain automated uses.
Many things HW does are intended to produce emotional responses. HW does appear to be a mechanism intended to reduce Hive's user base. That has certainly been it's consequence. Enabling automation of data recording isn't spamming. I don't find any points of agreement with HW on this matter.
Also, the third sentence would be the secondary, or even tertiary complaint, since it followed the text I have quoted that also contained complaints. I think we will continue to disagree on this, and I don't think either of us will convince the other of our views, so I will find something else to do.
Let's abandon flags.
And votes also.
Right
@valued-customer @indextrader24
Lol @antisocialist
Reactionary violence must be an option, or things get out of hand.
I wouldn't call it that.
But I guess I see where you're coming from. Self-defence.
But I am calling it self-regulation.
Balancing.
There can't be votes without flags.
Or what will be the regulation mechanism?
Going back to centralized oversight? And people hate hw
But don't get that what they wish for is exactly what they hate and fear the most.. and hw was only a joke against it..
Driving off ~1m users was a lot worse for Hive than whatever good you think they were even trying to do.
Why does voting require regulation and balancing? Hive requires upvotes. It does not require downvotes. Only governments claiming the power to enslave their subjects tax. Hive is not such a government, and has no need of taxes. There is nothing good or useful to the platform that comes of flags. There is much and bad that does, though.
@valued-customer cannot read and is a leech who wants upvoted without downvotes
Too dumb to realize that would mean the death of hive
Because open doors for abusers
Just because this leech cries about a few cents of downvotes
Not being ABLE to realize that we would not loose a few cents by flags but the whole platform
When abolishing downvotes
