RE: One Thousand and One Nights: Aladdin and the Magic Lamp: 24th Night

in #story2 years ago

While the path for Aladdin to marry the princess is clear, a new challenge comes to him that he needs to overcome if it was to make that happen. The requirement of "forty large dishes of solid gold, filled to the edges with the same kinds of precious stones, in the shape of fruits of all colors and sizes, that he had already sent me in the porcelain dish; and these gold dishes will be carried to the palace by forty adolescent slave girls, beautiful as moons, who will be led by forty black slaves, young and robust" is quite hefty and it will put Aladdin to a big trial where courage and intelligence must prevail. What comes next, should depend only upon Aladdin!
