RE: One Thousand and One Nights: Aladdin and the Magic Lamp: 31st Night

in #story2 years ago (edited)

"Go and invade the houses of my viziers, great and small, of my emirs and of all the rich people of my kingdom, and make them release, whether they like it or not, all the gems they have!" And the guards hastened to carry out the order."

See that it is a story from another era but this has not changed at all.

It is curious how quickly Aladdin has adapted to his new life of abundance and it is that one gets used to good things quickly. Now he not only swims in abundance but even gives orders "Take back what's yours and go!" as if he were the Sultan.
How long will it take for the Sultan to realize the change in situation?
