Hi! Day 3 of my trip is here, here are the other parts: 1 & 2
I woke up at 8:30, I was really excited about seeing the spot we fell asleep. I got out my tent and it was really cold and misty. We slept next to a river as we knew but it was bigger then we expected. We also saw a bridge with the train rails on them. Here are pictures of our location. We had a good breakfast and started packing the tent and the other stuff. We hit the road again and walked into a little town called Coo-Roanna. On Max his map there would be a supermarket there but eventually there wasn't one. We looked at a sign and there was a big town 16 kilometers away called Spa and it looked pretty cool on that map. So we started walking, after 5 minutes walking a cop pulled over and checked our passports. We tried to hitch but everyone drove past us, after 2 hours we took a small break to eat some snacks. The moment we started walking a lady came driving really hard. We tried to hitch again and she stopped. We told her that we had to go to Spa and she said she could bring us to the station. We dropped our bags in the trunk and stepped in the car. She needed to make it to her work so she drived really hard. We got dropped off and started walking to the city. While we were walking we already spotted a supermarket. We also saw a weird rollercoaster thing but we didn't go there because we wanted to drink something in the city. We found a small cafe on the corner of a street. We ordered a drink and started looking around on the web for info about Spa. We found a forest in the north of Spa called "Bois de Staneux" on the map. And we were done looking for the location. We ordered some food and we started writing for our blogs. We had a 2 hour break in the cafe. We paid the bill and gave a big tip, we went to the supermarket to get some food, we bought some protein food and canned food. We wanted a campfire this evening so we also took lighters. We left and came across the rollercoaster. It was an elevator which brought you up on the mountain. We bought a ticket and went up. The view was amazing. When we got up we ended up in Thermen de Spa. We got out and ate some yoghurt. We went further and got into the forest. Unfortunately it wasn't allowed to sleep in the wild and there were foresters who secured the place. We looked at the map and went to a forest west of us. We walked through the forest and it was getting really dark already. We got out and walked next to the highway. It was a really steep climb so we walked a little further to look if it was getting any better. After 5 minutes of walking we found a place to climb up. It was a hard climb because it was so steep and there were incentive bushes everywhere. It took an half hour to get up but we did found a good sleeping place. We were covered with trees around us and we started setting up the camp fire. There was a lot of dry wood luckily and we used the lighter to set it up. After a while we had a decent fire and started setting up the tent. When the tent was ready for the night the fire was almost off so we had to hustle again for some wood. When the fire was good again we put some cans on the fire. We had some frankfurters, soup and white beans in tomato sauce. It was a pretty good meal and it was hot. That was our first hot meal in 3 days :) After some good chilling we got in the tent and went to bed. The tent stood a little crooked so in the night we rolled down a lot and then we had to climb up again. It was definetly the best night and the hottest one.
See you later lovely readers! <3
