The Mad Lich: Night King's Catacomb

The Night King's Catacomb, according to legend, contains the remain of the most powerful necromancer in history. No one knows his origin or even his real name, but was only known by his title: Night King.

At the peak of his power, he terrorized the entire continent, and only through the valiant effort of more than a hundred legend class wizard and warriors was he defeated. That's how powerful the Night King is.

After his defeat, his body was buried in a special catacomb made solely for him. The catacomb had a powerful seal that prevents anyone from dissecrating his remains. This is because everyone at that time greatly fears the Night King, and if anyone manages to retrieve his body, he could be brought to life through necromancy—allowing the horror known as the Night king to return once more.

'If they are so afraid of the Night King's return, why didn't they just destroy his body?'

'Unless, they can't destroy the body? It seems like that there's more to the legend.'

Clyde frown when he thought of this. He got the information from an ancient book that he loot from the necromancer that ambush him. The book was titled "Night King's Memoir", and tells the history of the Night King and the Night King's Catacomb

Several days after the ambush, Clyde finally arrive at the Night King's Catacomb, but to his disappointment, he could not enter the catacomb due to a powerful seal that prevents entry.

'Could the rumor be wrong, and Lily is not inside catacomb? With such powerful seal it's almost impossible to enter, unless Lily manages to bypass the seal?'

Clyde was confused and worried at the same time. If Lily is not inside the catacomb, then he will lose the only led he had on her. Feeling depressed, Clyde was about to turn back when he suddenly felt the presence of several people!

Using a concealment spell, he quickly kills his presence and hide. Before long, he saw seven people in black robe arrives. From the shape of their body, five of them are male and two are female, and all of them are necromancers!

'What are they doing here? Wait! According to the rumor I heard, there are necromancers trying to subdue a lich inside the catacomb!'

'Then there is a high chance that those necromancers are them, and the lich they are trying to subdue is Lily!'

Heart throbbing, Clyde forcefully calms himself. There are seven enemy necromancers and just one of him, and there's no chance of winning if he face all of them alone, it's impossible for him to face them all. Having calmed down, Clyde hide his presence some more. He then observe the group intently.

The necromancer in the fore front (leader?) slightly raise his right hand and a necromancer with a big built, put a package down. Soon, the others follow suit and began assembling something, before long they are done with the assembly.

'Seal breaker!'

Clyde almost shout out loud in shock, fortunately he manages to stop himself quickly, or he might have exposed himself. Face grim, Clyde watches as the group activates the seal breaker, and then...
