5 Minute Freewrite - Nose Hair

Icuma sneezed. The breeze passed out its nose and dissipated.

** rewind - play **

"Icuma's in the next room, you know."

"I know. That sneezing demon is a pain in the iliac."

"I've got an edge this time."

"Please, no kleenex-launcher this time."

"No, no no - something MUCH better, this time!"

** fast forward - play **

He pulled the oddity out of his kitbag and aimed along... through... with... Ah, heck - he just shot Icuma with it, somehow.

A miscible cloud formed quickly between the two, paused a split second, and dove up Icuma's oversized snoot. Icuma was unsurprisingly upset by this invasion into its personal space, to say nothing of the invasion of its nose. And when Icuma was upset, the sneezes weren't long coming.

Eyes crossed, ears twitched back, full spine stretch, and a resounding "haaaaaa-CHOOOOO!" echoed.

** pause - rewind - zoom in - activate filters - tenth speed - play **

The cloud was fully formed. The slow motion showed it twisting slightly, clearly locking in on that giant snoot. Then two tentacles lashed out, one up each diamantous gape of a nostril. The filters show them latching onto the luxuriant nose hair and twisting into ad-hoc knots. The rest of the cloud is pulled in, latching in and holding on firmly.

** pause - return normal replay - play **

Icuma sneezed. The breeze passed out its nose and dissipated.
